Chapter 4 I''ll Cry for You
Joshua was sleeping soundly on Leonard''s shoulder, occasionally smacking his lips, probably having a sweet dream, with a slight smile of happiness on his lips. Leonard looked down at the young man in his arms, his long, narrow eyes deep in thought. Then, the man raised his hand and gently stroked the young man''s cheek, carefully tracing his features.
It seemed like nothing had changed, yet everything had changed.
As if sensing his touch, the young man''s long, straight eyelashes trembled slightly. He hugged the man''s arm tighter, rubbed his little head against his shoulder, and murmured softly, "Leonard..."
Joshua, just in his early twenties, had a soft voice like a little kitten, capable of melting anyone''s heart.
Leonard''s hand paused.
"Mr. Johnson, it''s almost time to start shooting." George knocked on the car door outside, cautiously calling out, "Mr. Johnson, are you in there? The makeup artist is calling you for a touch-up, Mr. Johnson?"
His master had been in the car with Mr. Smith for almost two hours, and George couldn''t help but wonder what they were doing. Just then, the car door opened, and his master was sleeping soundly on Mr. Smith''s shoulder.
The legendary Mr. Smith frowned, seemingly unhappy about being disturbed.
George nervously glanced at Leonard and stammered, "Mr. Smith, s-sorry to bother you, but the d-director said it''s time to start shooting. What do you think...?"
Leonard glanced at Joshua, who was still sleeping soundly on his shoulder and hadn''t been woken up. The man raised his index finger to his lips, signaling for silence, and George immediately shut his mouth.
"Bring your director over here," Leonard said in a commanding tone, lowering his voice.
"Huh?" George was a bit confused, but seeing Leonard''s expressionless face and the aura he exuded, he could only nod vigorously and hurriedly ran towards the crew.
...
Joshua woke up with a sore neck. He groggily rubbed his neck and looked up at Leonard, a bit confused, "How did I fall asleep all of a sudden? How long did I sleep?"
Leonard pointed to the watch on his wrist, the hour hand pointing to three o''clock. Joshua immediately jumped up in surprise, accidentally hitting the car roof, and clutched his head in pain, grimacing, "Why didn''t you wake me up? It''s time to start shooting!"
The man shrugged indifferently, "Well, in that case, let''s just not shoot."
"That''s not an option!" Joshua glared at him and was about to get out of the car when Leonard grabbed his wrist and pulled him back forcefully. Joshua fell into the man''s arms, "What... what are you doing!"
Leonard chuckled lowly but said nothing.
Joshua thought he was gloating and became even more dissatisfied. He struggled hard, but the man held him tightly.
The young man was both angry and annoyed, his face flushed red, not knowing if it was from embarrassment or anger, "Leonard, stop messing around and let me go!"
Leonard deliberately teased him, freeing one hand to touch Joshua''s soft, round earlobe, playfully saying, "What if I don''t let go?"
Joshua''s ears were very sensitive, and with just a touch, his earlobes turned red, "I..."
"Hmm? What about you?"
"I can''t beat you, so I..." Joshua''s eyes started to well up as he spoke, looking like he was about to cry, and he said fiercely, "I''ll cry for you!"
